GENERAL

Toll fees are subject to the Invoice Category, which is determined by the following parameters:

  • Vessel's Flag (Greek or Foreign)

  • Vessel Type (Cargo, Passenger, Cruise Ship, Yachts,etc)

  • Port of Departure and Last Transit Port

  • Port of Destination

  • Net Tonnage

  • Overall length (LOA)


NOTES

1. Subject to the Company’s discretion, the last port of call is considered as the Port of Departure and the first port to be approached for loading, unloading or any other commercial activity is considered as the Port of Destination.

2. Subject to Category "A" are the cargo vessels under the Greek flag only, that are not subject to categories "D", "E", "SE", and "ST".

3. Vessels are subject to Category "A" when, before crossing the Corinth Canal the two (2) precedent and afterwards the two (2) following ports are/were in Greece. Otherwise, the transit fees for vessels under a foreign flag apply.

4. Subject to Category "B" are cargo vessels only, that are not subject to categories "D", "E", "SE", and "ST".

5. Subject to Category "C" are cargo vessels only, that are not subject to categories "D", "E", "SE", and "ST".

6. In case the Port of Departure or/and the Port of Destination are not mentioned in these tables, or the Vessel’s category is not hereby specified, the Owner, the Master or the Vessel’s Agent should make a relevant request to the Company for the calculation of transit fees at least 24 hours before transiting.

7. Categories "A", "B", and "C" apply only to cargo vessels carrying goods and/or vehicles, fishing boats, tugboats, warships, special purpose vessels and not to passenger, cruise vessels, destined for the transportation and touring of passengers, for which only the fees of Category "SE" apply.

This category includes only Greek Private Yachts and Fishing boats registered in Isthmia, Loutraki and Corinth, which perform coastal navigation between Greek ports and their Net Registry Tonnage does not exceed the 100 NT.

This category includes all Greek flagged Professional Yachts carrying less than 25 passengers (as per Measurement Certificate).

Transit fees for these vessels are calculated according to their Overall Length in meters as mentioned in the Measurement Certificate. In case a different measurement unit is inscribed in the Measurement Certificate, that figure will be converted in meters for obvious reasons.
For example:

1 inch=0.024 m (2.54cm)
1 foot=0.3048 m (30.48 cm)
1 yard=0.9144 m (91.44cm)
   
SUBCATEGORY SE2
 
This category includes all Passenger Ships, Cruise Ships, Greek and Foreign flagged Professional Tourist Ships and Greek flagged Professional Yachts carrying more than 25 passengers (as per Measurement Certificate).

Note: The aforementioned vessels (registered in Isthmia, Loutraki and Corinth) should also provide their license issued by Port Authorities for offering sea excursions (within 6 nautical miles from the Corinth Canal and surrounding coastal line) along with their Measurement Certificate and Registry Certificate.
 
 
CATEGORY ST
 
1. This category includes all Greek and foreign flagged Private Cruising Boats (yachts, fast boats etc.).

2. The transit fees for these vessels are calculated according to their Overall Length in meters as mentioned in the Measurement Certificate. In case a different measurement unit is inscribed in the Measurement Certificate, that figure will be converted in meters for obvious reasons.

MINIMUM TOTAL TRANSIT CHARGES FOR OVERSIZED VESSELS

1. The minimum charge for vessels 16.5m < Vessel's Breadth < 18.3m with arrival draft > 5.8m, is 1,410 Euro.

2. Draft > 5.8m

18.3m < Breadth < 19.5m the minimum charge is 1,880 Euro.
19.5m < Breadth < 20.5m the minimum charge is 2,705 Euro.
20.5m < Breadth < 21.5m the minimum charge is 3,235 Euro.
21.5m < Breadth     the minimum charge is 3,530 Euro.
               


OTHER CHARGES

1. Dockage up to three (3) hours transiting- Free
Dockage on the Peloponnese side - more than three (3) hours, but no more than 12 hours

up to 9m - 35 Euro
9 - 15m - 52 Euro
15 - 25m - 86 Euro

 
Dockage on Mainland side - 25% reduction on the above fees
Monthly rates (Mainland side only)

up to 7m - 44 Euro
7 - 15m - 79 Euro

2. Embarkation - Disembarkation of passengers on the piers (charge per service)

-Up to 30 min before/after transiting the Canal - Free
-Without transiting the Canal up to 45 min - 168 Euro
-Without transiting the Canal more than 45 min - 258 Euro



FLOATING MEANS USAGE

· Use of Tugboat    515 Euro/hour 
· Use of Pilot boat   207 Euro/hour
· Use of Crane      277 Euro/hour
· Use of Barge   105 Euro/hour

Special daily or per destination rates may apply (lump sum)
